Danish radar technology company Weibel Scientific has signed an agreement with Poland’s PIT-Radwar to deliver the XENTA-M5 radar system for Poland’s SAN anti-drone programme.
The order is worth EUR 84 million, equivalent to DKK 625 million, and is the largest in the company’s history.
The radar system will detect, track and classify airborne threats, from small drones to aircraft.
SAN is part of Poland’s efforts to establish an integrated air defence system.
