Steel giant Voestalpine expects to increase revenue in Railway Systems from around 2.2 billion euros to approximately 3 billion euros by 2030/2031. The company said this ahead of today’s Capital Markets Day.
Growth will be driven by global investments in railway infrastructure and digitalization. The group also wants to expand in aviation, warehouse solutions, and tubes and sections. The first electric arc furnaces in Linz and Donawitz are planned to come online in the first half of 2027.
