The US Department of Defense is moving forward with approving three additional wind power projects, two in Illinois and one in Iowa. Punchbowl reports this, citing a White House official.
The assessment is that the projects do not pose any threat to national security.
According to the official, the Trump administration is fulfilling its promises to remove obstacles to the Senate’s work on permitting reforms.
