French defense company Thales CEO Patrice Caine is calling for greater investment in AI-based defense systems to counter the rapidly increasing number of cyberattacks involving the use of artificial intelligence. Reuters reports this.
According to Caine, AI enables attackers, including state actors, to carry out more sophisticated attacks more quickly.
Thales is also launching new cybersecurity tools and is collaborating with Google Cloud on safer use of AI.
