Just over 3.17 million passengers passed through state-owned airport operator Swedavia’s ten airports in September, an increase of 2 percent compared with the same month in 2025.
International traffic rose 3 percent to approximately 2.45 million passengers, while domestic traffic fell 1 percent to approximately 721,000.
Stockholm Arlanda had just over 2.27 million passengers, up 2 percent. Göteborg Landvetter was unchanged at approximately 531,000. Visby recorded the largest percentage increase, at 12 percent, followed by Ronneby at 8 percent and Åre Östersund and Malmö at 7 percent and 6 percent, respectively.
Compared with September 2019, that is, before the Covid-19 pandemic, total traffic was 14 percent lower. Arlanda was 2 percent below 2019 levels, while Landvetter was 16 percent lower.
