The Spanish steelmaker Celsa has contacted several investment banks to evaluate a possible IPO or sale of the company, Bloomberg News reports citing sources. The banks are expected to submit their proposals next week.
Since a financial restructuring in 2023, Celsa has been controlled by a group of investment funds, including Strategic Value Partners and Attestor.
The board has been given a mandate to explore opportunities for the owners to sell their holdings, but no timetable has been set.
