An employee at Morgan Stanley accidentally distributed an internal document by email containing more than 100 potential and ongoing investment banking deals, mainly in Asia. Bloomberg News reports this, citing sources.
The list included possible IPOs in China, South Korea and India, as well as information about the private equity and pension funds behind the companies.
Morgan Stanley says the bank quickly took action after the unintentional disclosure and continues to be in contact with the parties concerned.
