The audio technology company Sound Dimension has had its patent application for AiFi technology approved by the US Patent and Trademark Office, USPTO.
The patent covers technology for automatic identification, role assignment and audio optimization when multiple devices play audio synchronously. According to the company, the approval strengthens its position in ongoing commercial discussions with global streaming platforms and integrators.
The US is described as a key market for the commercialization of the technology.
