Engineering company Schaeffler’s board has extended, ahead of schedule, Sascha Zaps’ contract as CEO of the subsidiary Bearings & Industrial Solutions by a further five years. Zaps has been a member of the group management board since May 2024 and was previously regional head of Europe from September 2021.
The company stated that the extension is intended to ensure continuity and the continued development of its industrial operations.
