RTX company Collins Aerospace is investing a multi-million-dollar sum in an approximately 1,300-square-metre expansion of the factory in West Des Moines.
The investment will increase capacity for components for commercial and military aircraft.
The facility has around 300 full-time employees, and more positions will be added from the end of 2026 and during 2027. Construction will start in September, and completion is expected in mid-2027.
