PST closes investigation into Kongsberg Automotive over violations of sanctions regulations

Norway’s PST, the Norwegian Police Security Service, closed its investigation into

Kongsberg Automotive on 12 October concerning suspicions that the company’s products may have been resold to Russia through several distribution and sales channels. This is stated in a press release.

“The case has been closed because no offense is considered to have been substantiated. This means that the results of the investigation strongly indicate that no offense has been committed,” PST states.

The decision to close the case follows an extensive investigation that was launched in June 2025 and involved the Norwegian Police Security Service PST, the Directorate of Export Control and Sanctions, Deksa and Norwegian Customs.
