Producer prices in Sweden increased year-over-year in August.
Year-over-year, producer prices rose 6.8 percent (+6.4).
The monthly change showed an increase of 0.9 percent in August compared with July. On the import market, prices rose by 0.5 percent, and on the domestic market they rose by 1.5 percent. On the export market, prices rose by 0.5 percent.
– Higher prices for refined petroleum products, as well as trading in electricity, made the largest contributions to the positive monthly change in the Producer Price Index in August, says Maria Bäckström, price statistician at SCB.
