Payments technology company PayPal will enable payments in Meta’s AI agent Muse at participating merchants globally as part of a partnership.
Muse was launched on September 8 and can perform tasks on behalf of the user, including searching for products and making purchases after approval. Meta has previously integrated Stripe’s Link payment service into the agent.
Shopify is also partnering with Meta and will offer payments via Shop Pay in Muse at all Shopify stores. Amazon, on the other hand, has blocked Muse from shopping on its site.
