Nordic Mining’s EPC contractor Nordic Bulk has initiated legal proceedings against the subsidiary Engebø Rutile and Garnet, seeking approximately NOK 50 million. The company disputes the claim, partly on the grounds that it is unfounded, and has withheld payments pending Nordic Bulk remedying deficiencies.
The proceedings do not affect operations at Engebø, where the ramp-up has been slower than planned due to operational and technical problems.
