Mölnlycke Health Care appoints Anders Andersson as new CEO effective 1 January 2027, according to a press release. He is currently responsible for the Wound Care business area.
Fredrik Wallefors, who currently heads OR Solutions, is simultaneously appointed head of Surgical. Mölnlycke has previously announced plans to split the business into two independent companies.
The intention is for Wallefors to become CEO of Mölnlycke Surgical once the separation has been completed. The separation is expected to be completed during 2027, and the two companies will continue to be owned by Patricia Industries. Guillaume Joucla will remain acting CEO until the year-end.
Investor is the largest shareholder in Mölnlycke through Patricia Industries.
