Fast-food giant McDonald’s is testing displaying advertising from other brands on its digital menu screens after customers have placed their orders. Bloomberg News reports.
The pilot project is being conducted at selected company-owned restaurants and could create a new source of revenue for the fast-food chain, which has more than 13,700 restaurants in the US.
The test is taking place as McDonald’s faces rising costs and weaker customer traffic in the US market.
