US defense company Lockheed Martin delivered a C-130J-30 Super Hercules to the US Navy at its facility in Marietta, Georgia, on October 15.
The aircraft will be modified into an E-130J Phoenix II and become the next-generation platform for the Navy’s TACAMO mission, which involves airborne support for the command and control of nuclear forces.
