A trilateral meeting between Russia, Ukraine and the United States on efforts to end the war in Ukraine could be held shortly, according to the Kremlin. Reuters reports this.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the meeting could take place at a technical level in the United Arab Emirates. The Kremlin meanwhile says that envoy Kirill Dmitriev is in the United States for talks with American negotiators on, among other things, possible economic cooperation.
A Reuters source says that Dmitriev met with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner on September 24.
