Keurig Dr Pepper appoints Russ Torres as CEO of coffee company

Keurig Dr Pepper has appointed Russ Torres as CEO of the future Global Coffee Co, which will be formed when the group’s coffee business is separated, according to a press release.

Torres will take up the position on November 3 and will previously lead the integration of Keurig Dr Pepper’s and JDE Peet’s coffee businesses.

Torres joins from Kimberly-Clark, where he is chief operating officer and is responsible for operations in more than 30 countries. The new coffee company is expected to have annual revenue of around 16 billion dollars, more than 25,000 employees and operations in over 100 markets. The separation is planned for early 2027.
