The industry organization International Transport Danmark, ITD, is proceeding with its lawsuit against the Danish state after 46,427 road toll fines from 2025 are to be reassessed instead of annulled.
The state has admitted that the previous model breached EU law.
ITD, which is handling around 5,000 objections, believes that retrospective reassessment under the new model cannot replace annulment.
The new model has guideline fine levels of 2,000, 4,000 and 9,000 Danish kroner.
