Research company Irlab Therapeutics appoints Janne Backman as new chairman of the board. He succeeds Carola Lemne, who is stepping down after eight years on the board and had previously announced her departure.
Backman, who was appointed deputy chairman at the 2026 Annual General Meeting, has more than 20 years of experience in life science and has, among other things, held senior roles at The Medicines Company, Merck Serono and Astra Zeneca.
