Iraq has dealt with a drone of unknown origin near the Green Zone in Baghdad.

This was stated by the head of the SMC (Security Media Cell) to the state-run news agency Iraqi News Agency, according to Bloomberg News.

SMC serves as the central channel for publishing official statements, news and updates on military and security operations in the country.
