The inhalation company Inhalation Sciences is concluding the process conducted together with PharmaVentures. The Board believes that the company’s best way forward is to continue developing the business independently, but is keeping the door open to future partnerships and corporate transactions.
At the same time, Manoush Masarrat is leaving the role of CEO at his own request after seven years. Pontus Nobréus will take over as the new CEO on 5 October. He has previously, among other positions, been CEO of Redsense Medical and Pro Health Pharma Sweden.
“I would like to thank Manoush for his dedicated leadership and for the way he is now ensuring a smooth transition. The Board is very pleased to welcome Pontus as the new CEO – his extensive experience as a CEO in medtech and pharmaceuticals, as well as his view of the company’s development opportunities, make him the right person to lead ISAB forward,” says Jan Hellqvist, Chairman of the Board of Inhalation Sciences.
Masarrat will remain with the company until the end of the year to ensure the transition. The Board states that it continues to see strong potential in the company’s technology and position in predictive pharmacokinetics.
