A planned meeting between Hungary’s Foreign Minister Anita Orban and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been postponed until later this week.
The reason is that Rubio is accompanying President Donald Trump to Texas on Tuesday, Bloomberg reports, citing Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
No agenda has been made public, but Hungary is trying to persuade the US to refrain from imposing sanctions on the country’s continued purchases of Russian oil and natural gas.
