Goldsky Resources reports results from 2026 winter drilling

The mining exploration company Goldsky Resources reports results from this year’s winter drilling at the Rajapalot gold and cobalt project in northern Finland. This is stated in a press release.

At Raja, a 12.6-metre mineralized interval was identified with an average gold grade of 233.6 grams per tonne, without capping of extreme values. With a cap value of 50 grams per tonne, the grade amounted to 14.2 grams per tonne. The interval also contained an individual metre with a gold grade of 2,800 grams per tonne.

At Palokas, 17.35 metres was recorded with a gold grade of 16.5 grams per tonne, corresponding to 13.5 grams per tonne with the same cap value. Additional drilling at Raja and Palokas showed, among other things, 6.15 metres at 24.2 grams of gold per tonne and 16.2 metres at 5.1 grams per tonne, respectively.

In total, 32 of 37 additional drill holes yielded significant mineralized intervals. The drilling program comprised 10,385 metres in 45 new drill holes, as well as an extension of a previous drill hole. According to the company, the results largely confirm previously measured grades and the thickness of the mineralizations.

An updated mineral resource estimate is expected in early November and will form the basis for a new preliminary economic assessment of the project.
