Mining company Goldsky Resources has launched an approximately 25,000-metre diamond drilling program at the wholly owned Barsele gold project in Sweden, according to a press release. The drilling will upgrade and expand the mineral resource and focuses on the Skiråsen, Central and Avan zones.
The first rig started on September 16, and a total of three rigs are expected to be operational by mid-October.
An updated mineral resource estimate is planned for 2027, and the work will also support the company’s first preliminary economic assessment.
