General Mills has appointed Dana McNabb as its new CEO, effective at the turn of the year. She succeeds Jeff Harmening, who will instead become executive chairman.
McNabb is currently chief operating officer and has worked at General Mills for 27 years. Among other things, she is responsible for the group’s four business segments and central functions in sales, supply chain and innovation.
McNabb has previously served, among other roles, as head of North America Retail, chief strategy officer and head of the operations in Europe and Australia.
She says that the top priority will be to return the company to profitable growth, including through stronger digital demand generation and a modernized supply chain.
