Chinese automotive giant Geely plans to start selling cars in Canada in 2027, the company announced on Friday, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Geely, which is one of the world’s largest automakers by sales, has begun building a dealer and service network in the country.
The move comes as the US seeks to block Chinese cars and Canada opens up to imports of tens of thousands of affordable Chinese electric vehicles.
