Investment company Flerie’s portfolio company Atrogi reports positive results from an eight-week study of the drug candidate ATR-258 in 13 people who were overweight or had obesity.
The treatment was well tolerated at all dose levels and resulted in significantly improved physical function, increased muscle mass and reduced fat mass.
The results support plans for a phase 2 study in 2027.
