Fingrid raises transmission network fees by 4 percent from the beginning of 2027. The increase is attributed to an extensive investment program and higher costs as the electricity system is expanded.
Fingrid states that network investments to date have enabled the connection of more than 13,000 megawatts of clean power generation, while agreements have been signed for more than 8,000 megawatts of new consumption.
For households, the increase is estimated to raise the total electricity bill by around 0.1 percent.
