Cybersecurity company F-Secure is expanding its collaboration with Qutwo to enable AI-based fraud protection directly on consumers’ devices. Qutwo’s AI compression is intended to make threat detection models small enough to run locally, without personal data having to be sent to the cloud.
The technology enables faster protection even without an internet connection and in several languages.
In tests on the LUMI supercomputer, Qutwo reduced the size of the models by at least 90 percent while retaining 91-95 percent of their quality.
