The European Commission has unconditionally approved Finnish retail and wholesale chain Kesko’s acquisition of Dahl’s operations in Sweden and Brødrene Dahl’s operations in Norway and Denmark from Saint-Gobain.
Other regulatory approvals have already been obtained. The deal, the largest in Kesko’s history, is expected to be completed before the year-end once the remaining conditions have been met. The businesses generated revenue of nearly 2.1 billion euros in 2025, with EBITDA of 146 million euros.
