An expected EU vote on allowing Tesla’s supervised Full Self-Driving system across the bloc has been postponed from October. Reuters reports this, citing the EU’s meeting agenda.
At the meeting on 6 October, the issue will only be discussed further. The next scheduled meeting is in December, which according to the current agenda is the earliest possible opportunity for a vote. EU approval requires the support of at least 15 of the 27 member states, which together represent 65 percent of the population.
Tesla has described approval as important for strengthening sales in Europe.
