Germany’s major bank Deutsche Bank fell around 1 percent in Frankfurt after CFO Raja Akram gave a cautious forecast for the investment bank in the third quarter. Results are expected to be unchanged or slightly lower compared with the strong third quarter last year, Investing.com reports.
Trading in fixed income and currencies is meanwhile expected to be roughly in line with last year’s exceptionally strong second quarter. Credit losses are expected to come in between the levels recorded in the first and second quarters of this year, while costs for 2026 are said to be under control.
