The hi-fi company Dantax reports a significantly improved net profit for the 2025/26 financial year, driven by financial items, while revenue declined and operating profit was negative.
Revenue fell 20.2 percent to DKK 19.7 million (24.7).
Operating profit was DKK -0.6 million (1.0). The outcome is within the company’s latest communicated forecast of a result before financial items of between DKK -1.0 million and 0.0 million.
Dantax states that developments in its speaker and hi-fi operations are primarily due to lower demand and changed consumer behavior related to geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainty. The company is working on product and quality improvements, as well as concentrating its product range on fewer products and reducing capital tied up in inventory.
Net profit rose to DKK 7.6 million (2.0), mainly as a result of financial items. Earnings per share increased to DKK 25.3 (6.7).
Dantax had cash and cash equivalents of DKK 0.8 million (0.3) at the end of the financial year. In addition, its holdings of listed shares amounted to DKK 29.8 million.
For the 2026/27 financial year, Dantax expects a result after tax, before investment results, of DKK 0.5-1.5 million. The company believes that its work on product and quality improvements will support the products’ market position and positive earnings development.
