Danish Aerospace and Defence Company has signed an agreement with ESA to develop and build a prototype with critical components for a mobile LBNP system for astronauts.
The technology is intended to counteract the physiological effects of microgravity and facilitate readaptation to Earth’s gravity.
The prototype will be tested with DADC’s existing training equipment.
University of Copenhagen is a subcontractor.
The agreement does not affect this year’s forecast.
