US cybersecurity company Crowdstrike has signed agreements to acquire the AI companies Dreadnode and Fiddler AI. At the same time, the company is launching a feature that enables security executives to stop AI agents that act outside their instructions. This is stated in three separate press releases.
Dreadnode develops automated security testing of AI models, applications and agents. Fiddler AI offers technology to monitor the behavior of AI agents and explain their decisions. Both businesses will be integrated into Crowdstrike’s Falcon security platform.
The acquisitions are expected to close during Crowdstrike’s fourth fiscal quarter of 2027. The purchase prices will be paid mainly in cash, with a smaller share component subject to vesting conditions. No amounts are disclosed.
The new feature, AI Kill Switch, is included in Falcon Guardian and enables users to stop AI agents, prevent them from restarting and shut off their network access. The feature is available immediately.
