It is now confirmed that AI company Anthropic is targeting a stock market listing. This follows the company’s disclosure of its application with Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, according to an IPO prospectus. Bloomberg News was first to report the information.
The company originally filed a confidential application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, on June 1. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are leading the IPO.
Bloomberg previously reported that the company behind the Claude AI model is expected to begin marketing the IPO during the week beginning November 9. According to sources, Anthropic expects the listing to be at least as large as SpaceX’s IPO.
The plans are moving forward despite IPOs being postponed elsewhere and increased scrutiny of AI safety following high-profile hacking incidents.
As for the financial figures, the company discloses that it increased revenue by 1,300 percent to 16.3 billion dollars during the first half of 2026, compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
Growth has accelerated sharply in recent years. Revenue amounted to 41 million dollars in 2023, 386 million dollars in 2024 and 4.6 billion dollars in 2025. This corresponds to annual growth rates of 841 and 1,088 percent, respectively.
Anthropic is also warning that the exceptional growth rate is not sustainable. The company expects revenue growth to slow as the artificial intelligence market matures and its revenue base expands.
The company also emphasizes that the AI market is still at an early stage of development, making it difficult to forecast future revenue. Anthropic does not rule out the possibility that growth could slow significantly faster than expected.
Anthropic is also warning that artificial intelligence may pose catastrophic and existential risks to humanity.
The company has more than 1,900 customers, each generating more than 1 million dollars in revenue on a trailing twelve-month basis. Anthropic also plans to spend at least 110 billion dollars with Amazon through 2036.
