Talks are under way on the possibility of forming a centrist-right government, Christian Democratic Party leader Ebba Busch tells Sveriges Radio Ekot in an interview.
“I believe there is a way forward, but I am working on that directly with the parties involved,” says Ebba Busch.
The other day, Ebba Busch and Centre Party leader Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist were pictured after having gone to the sauna together. Busch now says that she is having constructive talks with several parties.
Social Democratic Party leader Magdalena Andersson will be put to a vote in parliament on Thursday as prime minister of a Social Democratic single-party government. Given that there is no finalized government formation to be put to a vote in the chamber, she will be put to a vote for a single-party government. Andersson says, however, that she expects to lose the vote.
