British Airways flight turned back after window crack – BBC

A British Airways flight from London Gatwick to Faro in Portugal was forced on Tuesday to turn back over northwestern France and return to Gatwick after a technical problem. BBC reports this.

According to flight data service AirNav Radar, it involved a cracked passenger window. The aircraft, an Airbus A321, also transmitted the emergency code 7700.

British Airways says the aircraft landed safely and describes the incident as a minor technical problem. The passengers were then to continue their journey to Portugal.
