The medical technology company Bonesupport states that interest in local antibiotic treatment was strong at EBJIS-MSIS 2026.
According to the company, the SOLARIO study showed that systemic antibiotic treatment can be shortened without poorer outcomes when local antibiotics are combined with surgery. The company saw no technologies or clinical data indicating that a comparable competitor to Cerament G is on its way to the market. Improved US reimbursement terms take effect on 1 October.
