Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote, Ethiopia and Djibouti have agreed to develop a petroleum pipeline and storage facility for $660 million. BBC reports this.
The project includes a 120-kilometer pipeline from the port of Damerjog in Djibouti to Dewele in Ethiopia, as well as storage capacity of around 400 million liters.
Operations are expected to start within 18 months and will shorten the transport time for fuel to Addis Ababa from five days to one day.
