Norway’s unemployment stood at 136,000 people in August, equivalent to 4.5 percent of the labour force, according to Statistics Norway’s Labour Force Survey. This was unchanged from the previous month.
The number of employed people increased by 1,000 from July to approximately 2.93 million. The employment rate rose by 0.1 percentage points to 69.9 percent.
