Diamyd Medical-led ASSET concludes its five-year innovation program with a conference in Stockholm on 23 September.
The project, which was funded through Vinnova’s precision health initiative, has examined how AI and data-driven methods can be used for earlier detection and prevention of type 1 diabetes. The conference will also address how precision screening can be introduced into Swedish healthcare.
“The project has helped advance discussions on precision screening, early detection and prevention, as well as how innovative technology can be translated into clinical practice – where Diamyd’s risk assessment application DiaTrapper, which is currently under development, could become one such example,” says Anders Essen-Möller, CEO of Diamyd Medical, in a comment.
