Major shareholder insurance group Sampo is selling 14.7 million shares in Noba Bank as planned. The shares have been placed at a price of SEK 85 per share, a transaction worth SEK 1.25 billion. The price represents a 3.0 percent discount compared with Monday’s closing price. This is stated in a press release.
Sampo is Noba’s second-largest shareholder. Following the transaction, its holding amounts to 50.1 million shares, corresponding to 10.01 percent of the capital and votes in Noba.
Nordic Capital, which is Noba’s largest shareholder, coordinated with Sampo but has decided not to sell any shares on this occasion. Its holding amounted to 257.92 million shares as of 27 August, corresponding to 51.58 percent of the capital and votes, according to the Holdings ownership service.
