The state-owned airport operator Swedavia is introducing a new fee model from 1 January 2027 to strengthen Arlanda as an aviation hub.
Airlines with frequent connections between Arlanda and smaller airports will receive discounts on take-off and passenger charges. The initiative amounts to nearly SEK 1 billion over five years and covers both domestic and international routes.
