Spanish energy company Iberdrola is considering selling its entire business in Poland, with an estimated valuation of up to 400 million euros. Bloomberg News reports, citing sources.
The company is working with advisers, but the process is at an early stage and no sale has yet been decided. Iberdrola owns five onshore wind farms in Poland with a combined capacity of 213 megawatts and is also developing battery storage projects totaling one gigawatt.
A sale would be in line with the company’s strategy of divesting assets outside its core operations and focusing on regulated power grids.
