The technology company Smart Eye has received an additional order for cabin monitoring software for a vehicle model from an existing European customer. The order is expected to generate an additional SEK 20 million over the model’s lifecycle.
Production is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2027. The company’s Interior Sensing technology has thereby been selected for a total of 19 vehicle models from four automakers.
”Once we are established on a platform, we often receive orders for more models and functions with very short lead times,” says Martin Krantz, CEO and founder of Smart Eye.
”This is a typical example: the order is smaller, but production is scheduled to start soon. We expect many more orders of this kind as customers add cabin monitoring to our existing DMS programs,” he continues.
