Naxs net asset value increased by 15.4 percent in the third quarter

The investment company NAXS’s net asset value per share increased by 15.4 percent during the third quarter, primarily driven by a sharp increase in the value of one of the company’s private equity funds.

Net asset value amounted to SEK 53.50 per share at the end of the quarter, compared with SEK 50.44 at year-end. Total net asset value amounted to SEK 582 million (556).

Profit after tax amounted to SEK 77.2 million (-70.2).

Earnings per share amounted to SEK 7.09 (-6.34).

Cash and cash equivalents amounted to SEK 26.2 million (43.4).

For the first nine months of the year, profit after tax amounted to SEK 53.3 million (-19.3). Earnings per share were SEK 4.87 (-1.74).

CEO Amaury de Poret states that the increase in net asset value was primarily driven by a significant unrealized increase in value in a private equity fund, based on the fund manager’s valuation. The listed holdings Tången Industrikapital and Jacktel also contributed positively.

During the quarter, NAXS made a co-investment of SEK 9.1 million in Euroatlas and continued to divest shares in Jacktel.

The company intends to continue acting on investment and divestment opportunities in the coming quarters. No quantified forecast is provided.
