Bank of America maintains its Buy rating on Google’s parent company Alphabet and expects slightly stronger-than-expected results for the third quarter.
The bank forecasts revenue of USD 111.4 billion and earnings per share of USD 3.07, versus consensus estimates of USD 111 billion and USD 2.98, respectively.
The cloud business is expected to grow by 93 percent, versus consensus of 89 percent, driven by increased capacity and sales of AI chips. The bank also sees launches of AI agents and Gemini 4 as potential share-price drivers, while higher infrastructure costs pose a risk.
